Erde & Verda x WHATIFTHEWORLD

We have the pleasure to invite you to "The Light Between", a group exhibition opening on the 11- th of May 2024 at 10am at WHATIFTHEWORLD Gallery in Cape Town where we participate with ERDE and VERDA perfumes made in collaboration with JOJO GIBBONS RDI. The two perfumes of soil are infused in our terracotta seed pod diffusers made by artist BEN ORKIN.

Curated by Kimberley Cunningham, "The Light Between" is an exhibition that delves into the intricate tapestry of collective memory, the subtle networks of quiet resistance, and reflections on African consciousness. It is a dialogue between the past and the present, a narrative woven with threads of both light and shadow.

"At a time when artists and cultural workers are being ‘cancelled’ for voicing their politics, my personal ambition is that this exhibition holds our silent consciousness resounding with formidable strength" says Kimberley Cunningham.
