Wild Olive African Artisans is a platform for education and skills improvement for the Transkei community who relocated to Cape Town. We have created a program of education, with the desire to create master Artisans.
The Wild Olive Collections are entirely hand crafted in our factory studio. Here, we have a development laboratory, and our own design team.
We manufacture bath and body products, created with natural and organic botanicals, and dedicated to those who care about the environment and themselves. A lot of effort goes into outsourcing ethically, mostly from the African Pharmacopoeia, and manufacturing with respect for the delicate molecules that compose our precious creations.
Our packaging is relevant to the times we live in; therefore we use glass, aluminium, plastic, paper, and cotton paper, all printed letter press, and all recyclable materials. Most of our limited edition collector items are commissioned from South African artisans or artists. Our towels are made with African hand woven organic cotton, harvested and processed in South Africa.
Our concept pays tribute to the past, also remaining relevant to modern times and our customers' demands.
Our crafters are driven by big aspirations for a better future. We believe that the new South Africa has a fortune in human resources, and it is a privilege for us to be a part of the building of a new country, and a new community.
